South Australian Aboriginal Education and Training Consultative Committee is an active, powerful and influential consultative council which gives voice and influence for Aboriginal people in education and training.
SAAETCC works to support improved educational opportunities and achievements of Aboriginal people in South Australia. SAAETCC relies heavily on the support and involvement of the Aboriginal community of South Australia to achieve this.
SAAETCC Consultative Council is comprised of an elected board of members who represent regions or education sectors in South Australia.
We actively seek and welcome the support and advice of Aboriginal community members living within South Australia.
SAAETCC is made up of parents from the Government, Catholic and Independent school sector as well as experienced community members.
The Consultative Council meets quarterly to discuss emerging trends in Aboriginal education and training at a state and national level. The aim of these meetings is to ensure that Aboriginal community are able to provide opinion, views and advice on education and training matters that impact on Aboriginal student, people and ultimately the wider Aboriginal community of South Australia.
